Eligibility :
Class 12th pass or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and
Maths.
Age :
17 years to 25 years
Certification :
After the 2nd year of the 4 year AME course,
a candidate is eligible to appear for Paper I and Paper II of the license exam,
conducted by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. Paper III can
be taken after three years and Paper IV after the
fourth year. Students who do not qualify in the AME examination are absorbed
generally as Aircraft Technicians in the
Aviation Industry .
Your Future Prospects
Most engineers are employed by airlines and
airline manufacturing companies. Some also work for other companies who do
work for airlines on a contract basis. Others work for air-taxi
operators and flying clubs.
